I am already a mom to a 3 year old,but being a first time mom, I do not know a whole lot about the 2nd time around.
I was on depo provera, for about two years.I had my period in Dec,which was about 8 days. Then last month I had my period for 2 days. Is that normal for it to be short? It went heavy to less.I did have sex around Christmas time. I am expecting my period again on the 23rd of this month.I had expiernce nipple soreness with a headache today. What is that? I had sex on the 5th,6th and 8th,with my son dad who came into town to visit.I looked at the ovulation chart, and it said that I had ovulated on the 6th.
My left nipple has been sore for about a hr now,w a freaking headache!
Is it because I should start my period next week? Something from ovulation? I am confused!
Thanks:)

When you say you were on Depo, does that mean you stopped the injections? When was your last injection? Periods can be off a few cycles when first stopping any hormonal birth control for some women. The period being shorter than the norm could be from the Depo, could be from a possible pregnancy.
When stopping depo, many women find it can take many months before they will conceive again, other women become pregnant very soon after stopping.
If you stopped fairly recently, then it will remain in effect for several weeks. Pregnancy will always be a possibility, even if you have had the injections on a regular schedule.
Odds are the sorness you are experiencing is from your period getting ready to start. Many women will feel the same sort of symptoms right before their period is due as they will in very early pregnancy.
If it's been quite awhile since your last injection... then it increases the odds it could be due to pregnancy. See what happens when this next period is due. Give it a week to see if maybe it is just still irregular and try a test at that time if you need to.

I got off my depo back in April 08.I haven't had any more injectings since Feb,and then a 3 month period which is April.
I did however had a normal period which lasted 8 days, then this last time it was shortend to two days. I started late Friday (23rd),and stopped in the early afternoon on a Sunday 25th.
I will wait until a week and a half and see if my period comes. Thanks.

I just came home a half an hour ago, went to the bathroom to notice a VERY light pink spotting on the paper when I wipe. I do not expect my period until the 21 or 22nd.This is the beginning of my 3rd week after having my last period.Yesterday when I was at the grocery store, I got dizzy, which made me feel like I was going to throw up,more of a nausea feeling where I just wanted to sit down and not do nothing.
I only had the spotting one time. I will see if it happens again.
