So I have this problem where my dog doesn't eat unless I'm by his side. After a couple of bites, he will turn his head back toward me to make sure I'm still in the same room. If I leave the room, then he will leave the room also. How do I fix this problem?! I can't always be by his side when he needs to it.

You are going to have to initate tough love, marielle. You are going to have to leave the room, let him follow you. He will eat when he gets hungry. You never have to worry about a dog going hungry in a home. A dog will never let that happen.

It may take a couple of days of this procedure, but eventually his stomach will over rule his head and need to have you by his side.

You have spoilt him I guess. Now you have to rectify the problem. It doesn't mean you don't love him, he knows that.
