Ok, so about a week ago I noticed a small lump on my penis(kind of looked like a spot), I thought nothing serious of it and carried on as normal. But within the last few days it's grown to around a CM in width and has increased in depth. It's slightly red and it feels as though there's something underneath it.

We don't diagnose Ben, you will have to go to your doctor. Are you sexually active and have you had unprotected sex lately ? If not, and you had said the bump was whitish in nature, It could probably be from masturbating.
