Hello. I recently was given a 4 YR old, full blood, male, neutered Min-Pin (Ozzie). From what I was told, he was house trained in the previous house he lived in, but was kept mostly outdoors with 4 other rather large dogs - so I was confident that he would be used to having other dogs around, seeing as how I have one other male mutt, Rocko. The first couple nights and days while I was at work, I kept him in is own crate that his previous owner had given me, and he did absolutley fine... no accidents! I then tried to merge him and Rocko together to save space, and also so they could "buddy" up together. He began peeing insidetheir crate almost every night or day. I would wash their sheets every time I noticed the accidents, but it would happen repetively. I separted them again, and he continues to show this behavior, when he didn't when I first brought him home. Could anyone help me with how to solve this problem or why he is reacting this way? Any help would be very appreciative...

Dogs should not share a crate, this will encourage them to mark their territory.

Put them back in separate crates and I'm sure the problem will go away.

Good luck.
