06 Dodge RAM backfires when dropping into 4cyl. They replaced 2 solenoids at the dealership but this didn't work either. We hit a deer several weeks ago and it took out the passenger lights and exposed that area of the engine. The truck was running fine before the accident. Could this be a wiring problem? (exposed, touching or disconnected)

Please explain what you mean by "dropping into 4 cyl." Are you referring to the transmission shifting into 4th gear?
