Ive had my Samsung HL-R4667 for about 4 years now all of a sudden lately I have green plaid lines running through it on regular channels but everything is fine on HD channels. Can't figure out what's wrong can anyone help me?

When you say 'regular channels', do you mean analogue or digital?

If analogue (and the HD are of course digital), it's most likely an interference problem. But let's confirm the details first.

I have the same problem with my Samsung HLR4667wax. Green vertical lines from all AV inputs, but the main menu displays normally. I know it is not a bulb problem.
Is it power supply interference or is the DMD chip going bad?

The digital boards are defective. You will spend an arm and a leg trying to correct the problem. There are literally thousands of Samsung DLP owners with the same green screen of death - the plaid screen when you use your inputs. It is not the lamp. A fellow Sumsung victim posted his form complaint on Cnet.com You can submit an online complaint form at this website:

6.ComplaintDescription: I purchased a Samsung DLP TV in 2006, model number HLR5067W. The TV was manufactured in such a way that the digital boards on these models fail just after expiration of the warranty period. Samsung knowingly manufactured these digital boards to fail so that consumers would purchase new digital boards at a substantial cost and substantial profit to Samsung. I make this complaint with the New Jersey Attorney General's office because Samsung Electronics USA is located in New Jersey. Samsung has a duty to sell products that are fit for their intended purpose and merchantable. Samsung has a duty to repair these product and to refrain from defrauding consumers.

Don't know how much you paid for yours but my 50 incher cost me 2400.00 plus all the repairs that have gone nowhere.
