View Full Version : Low Hot Water Pressure
I just bought a house and moved in yesterday. After finally figuring out how to let the hot water heater fill up, we have hardly any water coming out of any faucet in the house when we turn on the hot water. The cold water comes out fine. They house had been winterized. Last week water was turned on and the hot water heater was filled. Then drained. What can I do? The house and pipes are not old, built 2004. Everything I have seen says to drain the heater, but that was done last week. And still no pressure.

Do you mean no hot water at all or getting but low pressure, check your heater if there is a shut off valve installed on hot side, if it is check if it is open, Thanks.

There is hot water, just a trickle. No valve on hot water out, just cold water into the hot water heater.

How old is your water heater?
I would suggest to close the cold water to the water heater open a hot side of the faucet in the house, disconnect the hot water line at the heater, remove the nipple and check for obstruction if any found replace the nipple, thanks.
