We have a Kenmore Heavy Duty 80 Series washer, model #110.92588210 -- it's about 14 years old. My husband replaced the solenoid valve today and while he had it apart, he cleaned it. After he put it back together, he hooked it up outside to do a test run and make sure everything was okay. He had the water level set low, but the water won't stop. He turned the water level knob to "Reset", but it doesn't appear to do anything. The basket is now full of water and won't shut off. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be?
Thank-you!

The fill valve is stuck open. Replace it. As long as power is not going to the fill valve no water should pass.
