We've changed the coupler on our Kenmore (whirlpool) top load washing macine. First load I tried, the machine started to fill, only problem is it didn't stop, overflowed the tub and to the floor. When I turn the timer it drains and spins, but will not go into wash or agitate mode.
The pump appears to be fine (had that problem before), but wondering if something could
Have been installed backwards for this not to work. I've turned the timer to different cycles and the same thing, fill, drain and spin, no agitate. Timer didn't seem to be an issue before?
The switch for the lid seems to work fine. :(

The reason we changed the coupler was because the machine wouldn't drain or spin.

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher, have had to replace the key pad once before. This time when I tried to use it, got absolutely nothing. It's almost like there's no power to the machine at all. Nothing lights up on the keypad. We have checked power to the machine and it seems fine. Is there anything else that could cause this? Can it be fixed or do I have to call a repairman?

Dishwasher is only 4 years old and only gets used maybe 3 times per week!
