I just replaced my in-tank fuel pump with an oem replacement and it won't start and now I do not hear the fuel pump when I turn my ingition

. Test all underdash and underhood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Check fuel pump relay, likely in underhood fuse/relay box--contacts may be corroded.

Did you reconnect the battery? The negative cable should be removed, when working around the fuel tank.

Did you replace the first pump because you didn't hear it?
Even though you have a new pump in place, you need to check that power and ground are getting all the way to the fuel pump.
Check this out:

On occasion, the vehicle harness that connects to the new tank unit with have corrosion and cause a poor fit. Close visual inspection of the vehicle side of the connector may show why the pump isn't running.
Find the Fuel Pump Prime test connector in the underhood fuse box. Carefully, apply battery to the connector and you should hear the pump.
