Hello,

I am currently thinking of cancelling my husbands papers to Canada. We are waiting for his Landed Papers. If I stop the papers and he then get deported back to JAmaica. What will happen to him once he goes back home? What kinfd of life will he then have?

Thank you

If he is from Jamaicaand gets deported out of Canada it will not affect his life in Jamaica... he will not have a criminal record in Jamaica if Canada deports him.

He won't be able to enter Canada again but it won't change whatever life he has down there

Are you sure.

I know he can not enter Canada ever again and can not leave his Island. He is telling me that if I send him back I am basically killing him.
Saying he will have no life. Have a hard time getting a job, place to live etc. because he will be a deportee. And no one is going to want to hire a Deportee.
I really don't want to send him back, but I feel he has given me no choice. We have a new baby together and I am taking care of him alone as we are separated.

Not true... if he's deported from Canada, it means he cannot return to Canada again. Being deported from Canada or other country has nothing to do with him finding a job, etc... He said that to you because he doesn't want to be there. He still have the rights and freedom as a citizen of his home country.. nobody will put him in jail because of deportation.

Agreed, he is just trying to make you feel bad for him. The only people who will ever know he was deported from Canada is Canadian Immigration. Being returned to his home country will not put anything on his criminal record down there.
