So my sisters best friends little sister is so pretty and has a wonderful personality. We been talking for about two weeks but we've nvr hung out before. I askd her a week ago if she aid want to come to the movies w me and my friends she said she was gonnna check with her parents but I nvr got an answer whether she wanted to go. But yea. We have a lot of things in common but I don't know if she's intersted in me. We only talk on Facebook because her phone was flushed down the toilet lol the thing is that she is single from what it says on Facebook but like she has this picture about this guy who people comment and say they're so cute so I don't want to ask her out if she's taken. I asked her about her love life and she said it's there but yea. I wanted to ask her out again for valentines day but I don't know help?

It seems to me there are three possibilities here. The first is that she genuinely wants to date you and didn't respond to your asking her out for some reason (don't discount this possibility-- girls can be quite clueless); the second is that she is dating someone else; the third is that she doesn't like you at all and is trying to let you down lightly. The question is to determine which.

First, if at all possible, enlist your sister on your side. She has a very good source of inside information to find out exactly whether the girl is dating someone and perhaps even if she likes you, and she can ask far more subtly than you can. If all else fails, point out that if you're dating someone you'll be out of the house and, thus, leaving her alone more. :)

If allying with your sister is impossible, or she doesn't provide good information, the next step is to ask the girl again. Not, let it be noted, on Valentine's Day. That is getting much too serious much too fast. But just bring up, tomorrow perhaps, in conversation on Facebook that you are still up for movies if she is. If her reaction is something along the lines of "Yes, let's go on Sunday," you're golden. If she evades it again, to quote the romcom, she's just not that into you.

Ask her out for Valentines... she can't get it wrong then and you get your answer but there are no guarantees, be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.
