Hello!

We had a Buderus gas water heater installed in October 2008 (for both hot water and heating). It worked fine until a few weeks ago, when it stopped working suddenly, and the sensor showed that there wasn't enough water (low water light was on); after a couple of hours (or less), it started working, again, with no intervention.

Today, we have the same problem, again, and it's been already about 6 hours since it stopped working.
PS The system has installed a part that releases any air bubbles that may form.

It's supposed to be one of the best heaters, and yet, we are freezing... (today's outside temperature in our area: 20 degrees... )

Thank you!

Bunderhouse makes fine equipment. Your unit is still in warranty and I suggest you call the company that did the work back since if you mess with it while under warranty they can refuse to service the unit under the warranty agreement. Sounds like you have a make up water supply problem. There should be a auto feed valve on that new boiler system and it might be having a malfunction which means it is plugged up or just stopped working.
