Yes kids are not kids anymore after the age of 10 or 11.As with everything else in this society,it is hurry ,hurry.
They are over exposed to too much sex and adult television and music and they are missing out on what should be the best years of their life.

Yeah,in today's society people are really just swooshing along, and kids to grow up to fast and are put in situations at an earlier age. (kids having kids, sex too early etc.)
I mean I'm only 25 and I work at a school (1st to 10th grade) and things have really changed since I was at that age... and its not that long ago... I mean, me and my best friend played with Barbie dolls until we were like 12...

I'm only 18 and fixing to get married. I have been in my relationship for 3 years now. It took me a long time to fall in love though. Over a year, I thought I was in love after only a few hours. I have learned there is a fine line between loving someone and being IN love.

I think the media has so hyped up being in love that young kids are so in love with the idea of being in love that they jump at anything that seems like the fantasy promoted by the entertainment world.
As to teen pregnancy, I'll repeat what I have said so often.; NO ONE should be engaging in sexual intercourse unless they are physcally, emotionally and financially prepared to have a child.

I myself wish my mom had learned to use the V-Chip in our television. I know I grew up way too fast. However, I still have a lot to learn.
With all of the media centering around all of this, it is no wonder that kids are getting around to doing it, however, 99.99% of the time, it is a bad idea to get into all of this stuff at such a young age, and half of the time the parents could have helped keep their kids keep it straight, but they didn't.
