What is the meaning of this quote : 'You can't step into the same river twice.'
The famous greek philosopher Heraclitus said this.
 I don't understand it .

Hi, animayxx3Freak!
Well, if you think about it, if the river is flowing, then you're never stepping into the same water again as you did previously. So, in essence, it's not exactly the same river, because the content of the water has changed.
Thanks!
