In 2008, there were some recalls because the production processes on some batches of medication could not be verified and the FDA cited production deficiencies with two Generic Manufacturers.

The recalls were for batches with expiration dates through August 2010. These recalls were down to the retail level. You could have brought them back to your Pharmacist, however, shortages were reported in the first half of 2009, including from the original manufacturer.
