My husband has been paying child support on his two children for years, and his ex- girlfriend hasn't let him see his children since she up and moved to Florida with the kids,8 years ago! What can he do?

Was there a court ordered visitation schedule in place? If not, why hasn't he gone to court for one. If there is why hasn't he gone to court to enforce it.

If she moved with a visitation order in place, then she violated the order and could have been held in contempt of court. Her move could have been stopped and she could have been forced to return or give him custody of the kids.

However, since he hasn't acted for 8 years, I doubt if the courts will do anything about the previous visitation. They should, however, order her to setup a new schedule.

Yes, she can't just refuse, you take her to court for contempt and to order the visists

WOW, I just found this... For some reason it was e mailed to me today, weird.. I am the "ex-girlfriend" who has not received ANY CHILD SUPPORT for my 2 children. There are court papers, I have complete control and custody for my 2 children because why?? HE IS NOT FIT!! WOW.. I lived just 7 miles from this, for lack of better words and trying to be nice" man for more then 2 years and he never came to see my children. There is a warrant out for his arrest RIGHT NOW for non payment of child support. And if we really want to get into this, I let him come down here, in 2010, he told me he wanted to be a father, and had missed out on so much.. My kids are now 13 and 14... lol.. anyway, I found him a DAMN good job, and he has no education, quit school in 7th grade, and well he stayed for 2 weeks, left while the kids were at school without saying goodbye because he wanted to be with me and the kids did not want us to be together. They wanted to make sure he was here for them, not me.. My kids are still devastated. He has not contacted my children at all since then. So, is there anything you can do, crazyforspanky{names removed}, NO! And why are you asking? Why is he not on here trying to figure this out? Why is it that you are the one that is so interested in my children?
SO, yes I can refuse, but never have.. And ohhh by the way, I now, since leaving him and getting on with my life after being with him for 8 years, am not in my PhD program, and my children, are doing GREAT in a single mom house hold..

So let me get this straight. You believe that the OP in this thread is the wife of the father of your children. Because someone sent you an e-mail linking to this post? The only other clues are that there are two children involved and that the mother moved to Florida now 11 years ago. Yes, if you fit those circumstances, then yes you may be the mother.

I that case, you seem to be saying the situation is not as portrayed. Interesting!

You posted to a thread that is 3 years old. Much of the information has already changed. Please check dates before posting.

I see the address that posted it, so that is how I know it was her.. So, yes, I know this and this woman will not leave me alone.. She pops up ever 2-3 years, but he does not and now she is, not with this thread, another, trying to do it again due to the warrant. So, this was really to get her to see in a public forum to leave me alone...

Yes, I know it is her, the e mail addressthat posted it is hers... I was posting my response was to her to let her know I see it and I see all the others that are now popping back up... She is doing all of this because of the warrant for him.. But thank you for your interest!

Normally I would have removed a response to a three year old post. But since it appeared you were the mother of the children referred to, I wanted to clarify that.

If you noticed I removed your reference to the e-mail address and name. But otherwise let the post stand. The vast majority of the time we only see one side of the story. So it is interesting to hear the other side.

I don't know why either side would play out his/her life on a public board. When I saw the part about, "Wow, I just got an email about this" I thought it was me!
