My daughter has almost no water pressure in her home at all. We have checked the areators but it isn't that, no high water bill so no leak under house or anything. They are on city water and no one else that she knows of is having a problem. Do you know where we should start checking next or any ideas whatsoever? It will take almost 2 hours to wash 1 load of cloths and she is the mother of 5 so any help would be welcomed.

At the water meter, there is a valve that turns the water on or off. Make sure that valve is fully turned on. While there, check any indicators present to see if the house is getting plenty of water pressure.

1. Check water meter. Should be open all the way ( as per Bones advice )
2. Check Pressure Regulator
3. Check gate valve. Even when it turns, interior parts may be frozen in closed position.
4. Clean screens at the washer. There are at least 2 places where to look for them: hoses and at the w/m.
5. Make sure all main shut off valves are in Open position
