I am currently looking for a job, how do I answer the question on an application when it asks you have you ever been convicted of a felony? I have a felony welfare fraud charge back in 2000. I have a withhold of adjudication on the case. I was on probation for 2 years to pay back the restitution. How would you answer that question on an employment application? Was I officially charged with a withhold of adjudication?

If you were on probation you were convicted of something. Only you know what the conviction was for and what level.

If you are on probation then there was a conviction ( including a plea of some type)

Why not go have a criminal history ran and see what shows up

I suggest that anyone not sure about their background to pull it in order to answer the question on the application. Make sure that you read the question and what they are really asking as well.

Some positions that you are applying too (state, federal or municipal) can be bonded!
