I have a front load washer that I have had now for 3 years. I don't expect a washer to last forever, but the thing still runs beautiful. My question is how do you get rid of the smell? And now I have sludge that is getting on my clothes. Until about six months ago I didn't even know they made cleaners for them. I have ran bleach through it and baking soda, NO LUCK! Am I too late? Will I have to buy new? If someone can give me a cure to this I would appreciate it.

This stuff works prety good but you may have to do it 2 times if real dirty.

I have already tried it and it does not work. I purchased my front loader when they were just becoming a big item. So of course no one knew what kind of issues would arise. Right now I have filled my tub by pouring water down the detergant spot and added some bleach to let soak for a few hours. I also googled and found some powder named smellywasher, it seems to have great reviews so if this doesn't work I will give it a shot and let everyone know how it goes.

I wish you luck. The Affresh works well on normal problems. Your machine might need to be taken apart to get to the problem.
