Ive gotten so light and now people are accusing me of bleaching which I am but I don't want nobody to know I bleached my skin!

Are then any good excuses I can use that will convince people that I did not bleach my skin?

My parents have noticed and now Im kind of scared

weezing ,

I wish it wasn't such a big issue for people. At the end of the day our bodies are our own and as long as we don't hurt anyone, who cares what we do. We are not asking anyone else to lighten.
Hopefully after a while they will get used to the NEW light you and it won't be such a big deal. I always use sunscreen and really protect my skin from the sun and have always maintained that this helps to keep me light along with regular light peels .

weezing I think mahari is right but your parents will love you regardless of your skin tone. Personally my mom was mad at me at first, but then she got used to it and now she likes my new lighter color, don't stress

I will disagree if this is some minor child, they have no busienss doing this first without parents permission and have no business lying to them.

Had these dangerous chemicals caused a problem, guess who would be stuck paying the medical bills

These days children have as much rights as adults. I know this from dealing with my niece who is 14. These days if we stop a child from doing what they want to do, as long as it is not illegal, then we are infringing on their rights, whether we agree or disagree.

In the news we are hearing about minors who are terminally ill and are able to make decisions about what sort of care they do or don't receive.

I would personally not advise any minor from using any sort of lightener, as we do not know what sort of long term damage we may be doing to our bodies and it would be wiser to wait till you are older to make a more informed decision. However there are those who will still go ahead.

The truth will set you free. It's a basic thing to do. People are not stupid not to know specially if its really obvious.

When my college friends saw me they were shocked because my skin is lighter, I have not pimples anymore and overall skin is great.

I honestly say what I did and shared my secret so all of us will be beautiful. I'm not selfish with my beauty secret. I may be very vain but I share it.

I have to agree with BabyDoll22 and say Candice09, that it is a beautiful thing to share info that you believe will help others and that is a rare thing to find.

I always remember a few years ago going through a very "dark" period, in every sense of the word and had a friend who clearly was using something to lighten her skin. It took a lot of courage for me to ask her what she was using, although I didn't specifically ask what lightener it was. At first, she pretended not to remember and then after a little more badgering said it was a product that I know could not have achieved the results that she was showing. Now This was someone who I had known since I was 11 and who I had helped out of many a scrape. I had been a good friend. I know that she had a little hang up about me and was a little jealous, but from that day I realised that I would never be able to rely on her again.

And do you know what, I saw her a few months ago and she was so much darker. I didn't say anything to her about it or draw any attention to it, but maybe what she had been using would have been worse for me in the long run. So maybe she did me a favour.

That's very true maharani,I have lots of biracial friends who bleach and whenever I have asked them in the past what they used for their skin they either pretended not to hear me or gave me the name of a product which was just a moisturiser and I knew would never have given me the lightening results.funny enough, all the lightners they use contain mercury or steroids which I didn't know a thing about before or about the bad side effects.those friends of mine also don't know that mercury and steroids are dangerous for your health in the long run so they keep using it and when they attempt to stop using the soaps and creams for a while they tend to turn very black almost right away.now that I have found a natural and safe way to lighten my skin and keep my health safe,I always thank my stars that they never told me the products they used and thus have saved me a lot of pain and trouble in later life.more grease to their elbows and they should pray for their health.funny enough am no longer friends with may of them because as maharani too,I realised later that those friends used to be very jealous of me and never shared their beauty secrets with me,they just wanted me to share mine with them and that's it.I can't stand jealous friends who are envious and not loyal.

As of now I have stopped using funkymommy products and want to try something else.I have fair and white in mind and will be buying int online soon, trying it and posting results.I don't know if it's all natural but at least if it doesn't have hydroquinone, mercury or steroids it's fine with me.

I have been using fair and white skin products.. the ones in the white bottle have hydroquinone (and doesn't work smh)but the exclusive line (blue) doesn't have hydroquinone and works... to get results, you have to combine the products.. using one alone won't really work... I use the exclusive face cream and serum on my face.. it has lightened me a few shades and gotten rid of 80% of my acne scars so far... it is also good because it leaves your face really smooth.. I'd recommend that for your face

I tried the Fair & White whitening soap and Body Clearing Milk and have not really seen any results so I'm back to my papaya kojic soap. I just need to find a strong whitening cream for my underarms, knees and elbows. Right now I'm using Cocoa Butter (both cream and oil) as my moisturizer but I think I might need a moisturizer with sunscreen for the summer since my skin will be exposed more. Any suggestions?

The body clearing milk does not work.. I trieed it 2.. The exclusive line by fair and white works if u combine the products... it takes time though.
