How do I replace a heating element in a kenmore undercounter dishwasher?

Loosen and remove gasket and nuts from element under the unit. Then replace in the reverse of the removal. Turn off the power first.

Hey I was wondering... my heating element in Kenmore dishwasher seems to need to be replaced. It is all white and rough vs black and smooth... any idea what the cause is for this?

Hard water deposits?
Split/defective element will also look like that.

Hi hvac1000
Would you take a second to search searshater for my post regarding my heating element problem... I could really use your input?
Thanks
