Hi,
My monitor basically shuts down after about an hour. I have to switch it off and leave it a while for the same to happen. I powered it up in my garage earlier and it lasted over 2 hrs because it was so much cooler.
Anyone any ideas or is it the trash for it?

Probably cheaper to just junk it and get a new one. Sounds like the cooling fan in the back has gone out.

Wouldn't recommend trying to replay it yourself.
