I use Firefox for my browser, lately, I have been trying to download something, and its not saved onto my desktop. I even checked tools/options in Firefox to see where I chose to save the downloaded files too. It clearly say that I chose the desktop. I've been trying to download some pictures my friend send for me in my email, I want to download it to my desktop. But after I download it, I cannot see it on my desktop. It's not like it's not downloading, I saw it download and everything, it's just not saving or it's saving somewhere else.

This doesn't happens only in pictures, it happens in other programs too. It won't save. Please help, I'm worried that my laptop is being sabotaged by virus. :confused:

Create a new folder on your Desktop and change your options to save the files to that folder. Try a download and see what happens.

Sadly to say, I tried that and it was futile. Yes, I did change what folder to save in on Firefox... After downloading, I checked the folder to see if the picture I downloaded was there, it said it was empty... PLEASE HELP!

Is the picture a jpg?
