Hello

I need help really bad. I bought a Hunter Easy saver model 44860 programmable thermostat. I took my old one off without marking the wires. I need help.

My current wires are Red, Yellow, white, green, blue, and orange. The new conf. requires Y1/y2, W2, G, R/RC, and L

That is only 5 wires. The old one did have 6 hooked up and it was not programmable. BTW, I have Air, elect. Furnace and heatpump system.

Please help

Thanks

Based on the terminal designations of your new t-stat, it isn't compatible with your system. You will need one for 2-stage heat/1-stage cool. Back to the store...

The new conf. requires Y1/y2, W2, G, R/RC, and L

L is a fault code wire you don't need it.

Other ten that you should be fine
