Hi. This is kind of embarrassing but I was wondering if there was a chance that I could be pregnant. I normally get my period every 22 days and now I am 2 days late. 3 days ago I had very light spotting that didn't last long at all and barely went on my underwear. I am wondering if there is a chance I could be pregnant even though I did not have sex. I was with my boyfriend and he fingered me, but that is all the penetration that occurred. He never ejaculated, but now that I am late my mind has me thinking maybe he had pre- on his fingers. Also, I think that I was ovulating during the time that we did this. Im not exactly sure if there was any pre= or not, but is there a large chance that I could be pregnant or is it just my nerves that would make my cycle late? Also, if I'm not pregnant why did I have such light spotting 2 days before my period was due? - Thanks

Almost certainly not pregnant, but take a home pregnancy test to reassure yourself. Periods can vary for all sorts of reasons, including the excitement of getting intimate with your boyfriend. While it's possible to have spotting when you are pregnant, spotting is definitely not a sign of pregnancy.
