I have a Intertherm E1EB-015AH. This unit on the heat setting when the thermostat clicks it start blowing immediately and it takes about 60-120 seconds to feel heat. Its cold air until the heat strips turn on. The unit cycles off normal by the heat strips turning off and the blower continues to run for a few, then turns off like normal. Also, the heat temp on a thermometer is 104, Is that normal?

What could be the cause of not having heat right off and taking a few for the heat strips to turn on?

Thanks very much for you responses,
JOHN

You have a bad or defective heat sequencer causing the problems with the blower and the heater.

You will have to explain the 104 on the heat temp. I have no idea what that means.

The temp is 104 when I place a thermometer in the vent.

Thanks,

104 degrees coming out of the vent/floor register is acceptable.

Where can I get manuals for my unit? The unit is intertherm E1Eb-015HA. I found a sequencer. I would like to know how to wire it and the location so I can do it myself and save money in these hard times.

Thanks,
JOHN

Exact manuals for the E1 are not easily available but here is one for a E2 which is the same basically.
