This has been driving me crazy for months now. I recall a movie when I was a kid. It was an animation movie, and it looks like it was drawn by the same people who did The Last Unicorn.

I don't remember the plot too well, but it involved this man going into a pawn shop and getting a chess board I think. Then I remember him turning into a dragon and having to learn to be like one. There was a scene where the man turned dragon, another dragon, and a knight were in the woods and they had to start singing loudly to block out some noise. In the end, the man turns back to normal and has to save this princess from a wizard. That's all I remember.

Please help me find this! When I talk to my friends about it, they all look at me like I'm crazy because they've never seen it. :(
