I have a 06 F250 6.0L with what I think is a fuel injection problem, or a mother board problem. I've read a great deal of web answers to peoples similar problems and they all seem to aim at the fuel delivery system. My truck will blow white or black smoke, and often lose power. It seems to me that maybe I have a bad injector as well as a bad computer delivering signals to the injectors... Anybody have an idea... If so please help before I go spend an of money letting somebody spend my money diagnosing what seems to be a simple fix.

What is the mileage on your vehicle? Where are you having it serviced, at a dealership or an independent garage? Have you had it scanned for diagnostic trouble codes? If so, please post them before I respond any further to your question.

God when it comes to a 6.0 Ford diesel and fuel problems at all, it could be so many things. My brother-in-law even brought his in to be scanned by ford, after we tried so many things to fix it and it took more than scanning to figure his out. Is it doing anything else, hard start, rough idle, start and die?
