Hi Guys,

My boyfriend and I have been using the "pull out" method which obviously isn't the best one to follow. Approximatly a week ago my boyfriend released the information to me that he ejaculated while inside of me... several times. I stated to get weird cramps a couple days ago in my lower abdomen and to my surprise I though I had gotten my period. I usually get the heaviest periods ever, and this time its only lasted 3 days and is so light I only had to use liners. It started of dark red-browish and got lighter to almost a dry blood colour. Unlike my normal period, there isn't a strong smell and the cramps aren't the same. Also now that Im done "bleeding" it feels as if Im going to get my period again, the same kind of cramp feelings. I finished my previous period on the 10th of this month (January) and this "bleeding" came on the 26th only 4 days ago. Could it be implantation blood? Im quite confused and this has yet to leave my mind. If anyone could please give me adive, help, answers that would be so very appreciated.

Thanks,

M.A

Go to the doctor and QUIT using the pull out method... you're being very irresponsible! Not only could you be pregnant but you might possibly have an STD!

Although it wasn't a great idea to use that method, we have been together a long time and have talked thouroughly about this- so it not like it's a bad thing if I am pregnant. We both get regular testing for STD'S you can never be too safe. Thanks for the advice though, I definitely will be making that appointment to see my physician.

if anyone can add anything, that would be very much appreciated

Thanks,

It could be... you will either have to try a pregnancy test, or wait and see what happens when your period is due next month. In the meantime, treat yourself as though you might be. It would be wise, if you aren't already, to be taking a multivitamin with folic acid, watching what you eat and drink, making good lifestyle choices, etc. because sooner or later, a pregnancy will likely happen with the pull out method. Best to be in good shape for when that happens.
If you are not really wanting to be pregnant just yet, well the obvious, a you know, would be to use a different birth control method.

Hello, I am not here to judge you. I understand you are looking for answers and not that extra stuff (we are all adults here). I do believe that you might be pregnant. I am also experiencing the same thing you are, and just playing the waiting game. The good thing about me is that my period is due today, so I won't have to wait too much longer. I think you should wait for a missed period, while monitoring your bleeding. Doulalc gave great advice about treating your body as if your pregnant, that what Im doing. I wish you the best. Keep us updated. Good luck
