My husbands employer sent a memo out last Friday saying that they will be charging employees ten dollars each time they did not clock in or out. Is this legal in the state of Florida ? They did NOT have the employees sign anything to agree on this . :confused:

I do not believe they can charge them for not clocking in. Now they also don't have to pay them for the time worked if they did not clock in.
If there is no record of them working they did not work.
