Hello

I have an attached apartment to my home on a separate meter. The inside panel says trumbull manufactory co. multibreaker 120v-240v 70 amp. I am not familiar with these breakers at all. I would like to add a 220v circuit for a washer/dryer stackable. There are 4 switches but it looks like 2 big breakers. Each switch has 2 screws and one black wire connected to a screw. Does this mean the other screw is usable? I would like to take one of the wires off one and put it on one of the open screws of the other giving me 2 open screws on one switch and then attaching my 220 line to one of the switches. Is this possible or even close to correct?

Thanks in advance for any responses
