Thank you to anyone who helps me! I'm in 7th grade, and I like this guy in 8th grade. We have band and reading together. He knows I like him, because I had my friend tell him. He looks at me a lot, at least I think he does, because almost every time I look at him, he's looking at me. But, I'm extremely nervous when I'm around him, which is unusual, because I am a very confident person. But I get tongue tied around him, and blush brightly, and look at the ground. I am very interested in him though. Any advice?

Hi, confusedgirlplz!

Well, you are already in band together with him. Band people tend to have kind of a club because of the nature of making music together. So, striking up a conversation with him about his band instrument might be something that could "break the ice", so to speak.

What instrument do you play and what instrument does he play, please?

Thanks!

Well... you could always go up to him and talk to him? Perhaps ask him what he's doing this weekend... if he wants to go hang out at the mall, movies, etc?

Here's what you do because yes it kind of embarrassing just to run up and say hey what's up.. so you get a group of your friends and you approach him with your friends when he is with his friends... you invite them all to the movies... if he accepts to go.. thats step one.. step two is getting to sit next to him during the movie. Step three is.. slowly "accidentally" touching his hand.. if he seems interested and grabs your then there you go.. he backs away kind of appalled then I would say "oops sorry"... then try the talking thing.
