I have an autistic three and a half year old and I'm looking for information about diets I could try. What is the best one?

Several people I have spoken with swear by the gluten free diet. Just be careful, sooo many foods contain wheat/gluten without marking it on the ingredients list.

The FDA does not force companies to mark whether or not a product contains gluten so look for products specifically marked gluten free to be safe if you want to try it

You can try a GFCF diet it is a gluten free casein free diet Autistic children have problems breaking down certain foods. My son is on a GFCF diet and it does help. I also suggest starting Vitamins if you're child is like me they are very picky and are missing certain nutrients. My son would only eat chicken nuggets for a year lol but we got through that stage thank god. There are many cook books for GCFC diets goggle is you're best bet.
