Received letter today informing me that they were repossessing my car. In December when the original default letter arrived I contact the finance company and I told them I was sending pymt for £500.00. Never heard again from them so assumed they'd recd and cashed cheque.

Today letter arrived informing me that they were repossessing the car and I asked that surely they must give me the opportunity to make up the payments or come to some sort of agreement to pay the missing payments.

Was advised that as the car loan was over £25,000 that they could do want they wanted and they didn't need to give me prior notice. Was TOLD very cheekily that this would have been advised when agreement was taken out. No such conversation took place.

Finally, wrong registration details is on agreement and all correspondence. Advised finance company of this on numerous occasions.

Can someone please tell me is this correct about the finance being over £25k and why.

Also, is the agreement valid if the wrong details are on the agreement.

Can someone please please advise as I need to contact company today and I've no idea what the difference is due to the loan being over £25k.
