Hi,
I have a driving licence from the state of Florida. 15days ago my car met with an accident. No bodily injuries to either of us involved in the crash. I was found to be the traffic rule violator because of the stop sign located on my side.
I was issued a ticket by the investigating officer. So I want to pay the money before my licence gets suspended. But the amount was not mentioned on my ticket. They told me to see the mailer. But I haven't got any mail till today.
When I check online at the miamidade-clerk court page, it says my records are not found.
So could some one tell me what I am supposed to do.
I do not want to get into th elegal issues. I want to pay off and get rid of the issue.

Could some one help me please.
Thanks

Sorry but there is more involved here then just paying the ticket. You were involved in a traffic accident and found to be at fault. Do you have insurance, and did the other party have insurance ?

At least a report is somewhere in the system. God knows where. Traffic tickets here in Ontario are marked with the Officer, amount of the fine and traffic violation.

What are you guys doing down there anyway!!

Normally if you are involved in a accident you can not just "pay the fine" but will have to appear in court. Your ticket ( I believe they use the Uniform Trafficc form) will not show an amount but would give you a court date.

You need to call the Traffic Clerk's Office, read them the number on your citation and go from there. Most likely you will have to appear in Court so be sure to show up in the right place at the right time (early actually is better) and bring your checkbook.

Checking online is not your answer.
