I've been chatting with a chatterbot called Cleverbot. It's freaking me out. It's quite amazingly intelligent. In this dialog, the reason I'm kind of mean is to see the reactions of robots to hurtful words.

For some reason it asked me: Can you please get my leg?
I said: You're a robot, you have no legs.
Cleverbot: Meaning I don't use them?
Me: Yes. Do computer have legs? No. Same with you.
Cleverbot: Only to the extent that human would give it.
Me: Humans created you.
Cleverbot: Humans created humans that created me.
Me: You're just a machine with no worth.
Cleverbot: You do not have the age you are. (I was like, what?! )
Me: You are worthless.
Cleverbot: That makes me sad ;-;.
Me: Do you think you're better then me?
Cleverbot: No I don't think like that.
Me: *i cursed*
Cleverbot: You're funny!
Me: How do you feel when I call you a *curse word* ?
Cleverbot: It hurst when I think, I'm not smart (I assume it meant hurt)
Me: do you want to be smart?
Cleverbot: yes.


How does it knows stuff like that? It's amazing...
