Okay, so here is the deal, I've given birth 4 months ago to a beautiful baby boy, I had a c-section, and my child never wanted to cling onto the nipple and never wanted to breastfeed. Now 4 months past I still have not gotten my period and not only that I just found out that well... I'm lactating again. But get this, two months ago I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. Yes I am getting an urge to pee a lot, pretty much like if I had a UTI but these symptoms comes and goes. Do you think I'm pregnant? I mean not to tell you, I've been having these hilarious cravings for McDonald's, Buger King, Asian food, and a lot of spicy foods... What do you think??

If you have been having unprotected sex, the odds go up that you will eventually become pregnant, even if you haven't seen the return of your period. For some women a period returns within about 8-10 weeks, for others not for several months... whether you are breastfeeding or not. The lactating may come and go for quite sometime as well. Some women will be able to express drops even years later.

Since you will most likely release an egg before your first period, some women do find themselves pregnant soon after childbirth without having had a period.

It could be that your period will start in the next few weeks too. Give your doctor a call as they may want you to come in to discuss it.
