Betcha can't answer all these questions about sheet music!
1. What does # mean in music
2. What does 2/2
3. How many measures in a phrase
4. What is it called when you play two different notes at once
5. What note is between the two clefs
6. Does "B" have a flat
7. Does "B" Have a sharp
8. Name the notes of an octave (don't do sharps or flats)
9. Legato means what
10. FF at the beginning of music means what

1. The following note is sharped.
2. Two beats per measure, half note gets a beat.
3. Phrase is an ambiguous term in music, but it can be 2 to 8.
4. An interval.
5. Middle C.
6. B does have a flat. Bb=A#.
7. B does have a sharp. B#=C.
8. Tonic, Supertonic, Mediant, Sub-Dominant, Dominant, Sub-Mediant, Leading/Subtonic
9. Legato is Italian for "tied together". It means the notes are to be played smoothly. In guitar playing it often refers to techniques such as hammer-ons or pull-offs; or legato (smooth) slides, as opposed to a shift slide.
10. "ff" stands for "fortissimo", meaning to be played "very loudly."
