I was living in my ex's parents house until I was kicked out after the divorce and now presently living with my mother until I can find a place to live. I want to move 75 miles further away but my county I was divirced in won't allow it. I am the primary parent and my ex lives 3 hours away. I meet her half way anyway. What does it matter if I move? How can I get this changed so my son and I can move closer to work and closer to better schools.
Thanks

File a Motion with the Court and ask permission to move. You would both present your proof of why the move is good for the child, not good for the child, impedes or doesn't impede visitation and then the Court will decide.
It matters because the Court says it matters - at this point.
