Hi, We have a US B1/B2 multiple entry visa issued in 2001 good for 10 years. My family and I used this visa in 2002. In 2006, I applied for H1B visa and was approved but the consulate required some more documents from my prospective employer and was only provided after 10 months so our passports were stamped with H1B visas only in Nov 2007 and valid only up to Sep 2009. With the economic slowdown in 2008, I was not able to go to US to work for them and they have canceled my approved H1B visa last Dec 2008. My question is, "Do our US B1/B2 visa still valid?" We are going to Canada and intend to visit USA also this summer. Can we still use our B1/B2 visa? Thank you.

If you submitted your H-1B in your home country, B-1/B-2 is still valid.. but if you applied for change of status to H-1B while you were in US, your B-1/B-2 is already revoked.

Hi lawanwadee. Thank you for your reply. Kindly explain further what you mean by "If you submitted your H-1B in your home country". Does this mean if we got our H1B visas in US embassy in our country?

If you submitted H-1B application to US consulate in India, you visitor's visa is still good.
