My 5 year old doxie was house broken but the last 3 or 4 weeks she has started to pee in the house. She has a doggie door that she always has used in the past but now she will pee 2 to 3 feet in front of the door.
We are not home all day because we work, but we have always worked from the time she was a puppy. When we come home and find her little wet spots she knows that she did wrong because she will immediately run out the doggie door. So now when we leave in the mornings we put her outside but we leave her crate at the opening of the doggie door so she can have a warm place to stay until we get home.
Is there anyway to break her of this bad habit because I don't want to have to keep her outside.
She is not sick nor has there been any change in our routines.
PLEASE help

Depending on the climate, you can't keep her out side. She won't survive. There must be some situation in your house that has upset her. Arguing, yelling, and she can't take the strain, so is showing you the only way she can, by acting out this way.

They are like children, upset easily and don't understand.

Dachshounds are not fit for outdoor living, she won't survive. Also, placing her outside and leaving her, even with a warm place to go, won't teach her that what she's doing is wrong. This is a punishment, not a training technique.

Have you ruled out a urinary tract infection? This could be the cause.

Get her checked, rule out illness and then go from there. At this point you may have to retrain her to go outdoors, make sure that there's nothing outside that is scaring her and start from the beginning, lots of positive reinforcement, lots of praise when she goes outside.

Good luck.

Hi alty, good point about the little one being scared of something outside, could be why.
