Good evening everyone. I'm hoping you can help. I have a Hematite ring that has disappeared. I have been looking for it for at least a year. I remember having my hands on it and now it is gone. It was given to me by my "other half" and I am frantic. Is it possible that someone might have insight? I'm really becoming rather desperate.

Personally, I think Tolkien was right. Rings have minds of their own. I made a magic ring when I was a teenager, and it just decided to fly off my finger one day and never come back. More recently, my wedding ring got lost when my wife and I were having some trouble, but got found when things got better between us.

Sorry. I've had it happen a couple of times where I've gotten a vibe that helped me find a lost item. Not getting anything right now, so I'm just yammering.

Still, though, I do think rings can carry emotional/spiritual/psychic energy. Sometimes in getting lost, they can actually do us a favor by helping us not get stuck in a particular spot, such as a particular phase in your relationship with your Halfpiece, by carrying energies away that would otherwise bog us down. So, as your relationship with that person continues to grow and transform, maybe your ring will come back, or maybe you will replace it with a new one (either of which could be as symbolic as you make it).

Perhaps these are lessons that we're being taught in not becoming attached to material objects. When we're lying on our death beds, that's not what really matters anymore. I know it's hard because I've definitely lost a ring that meant the world to me, but Im over it now, and my lesson was well learned. Every day there is a new lesson to learn! Also, you may want to try to meditate and speak to your spirit guides. They may be able to help you.. that is.. if they want you to find it. =)
