I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 3 years now we have a 7 month old together and I have a 9 year old with someone else,the father of my first son has never been in his life and also in and out of prison,what right would I have to have my boyfriend adopt my son,and if the father frm my first son won't give my boyfriend the right what else can I do,I'm from the uk where do I stand,

Your boyfriend cannot adopt your son until you get married. If your ex (cild's father) won't consent, he may not ever be able to adopt.

Edited to add: this is in the US. I am not sure about the UK.
