I have a Toshiba Satellite A205-S5855 Laptop. The curser is frozen in the middle of the screen. Help. Cjm

Reboot should fix this.

Is the cursor frozen completely at all times? Or when you first start the OS does it move at all at first? Either way there is a fairly good chance it is related to a mother board issue... if it is under warranty I'd send it in or have a replacement system board sent out.
Before doing the above though I'd check to see if the keyboard works, when the OS starts use keyboard shortcuts to see if the computer is actually frozen or if perhaps just the mouse is broken... try clicking TAB to see if it shows any movement on screen.
But again if your laptop is under warranty I would sent it in right now... if it is not try the following... start in safe mode, does problem still persist? What OS do you use? Does this happen inconsistently, frequently or every time you start your computer? Do you get any errors when starting your OS?
