This would be the third time this happened. I went to use the bathroom (urinate)and found a dark, possibly black substance or discharge (in the toilet bowl after urinating). There is no pain, I am sexually active, and co confused. This happened a few hours after intercourse. Very worried, what could it be?

I haven't had my period yet, my last cycle was in December.

Ok this is my story and want to tell you just because I don't want you to ignore this.
You need to call your Dr. and have a pap done please! Or at least talk to them and let them know what is going on.

I had the same thing happen and ignored it. Eventually it went from black/very dark discharge to bleeding during sex and very unusal periods.

I finally broke down and went to the Dr. because it was getting worse. I waited almost a year before I took the time to go see about it.

I ended up having a positive pap come back. My Dr. told me that these were all warning signs of something being wrong. I was scheduled for an immediate hysterectomy and had to have everything removed. Both Ovary's were bad as well. I ended up on Chemo/Radiation after the surgery.

I have been cancer free now for 6 years but wish I had gotten myself checked way before I did. You need to put aside all the excuses we make and go to the Dr.

It may be nothing and may not be anything close to what happened to me but please don't ignore it!

Good luck and keep us posted!

D
