Please explain:
How did you and your husband obtain green card? Through family members or employer, etc?
How long were you in US?

It's important to give dates of each step regarding your immigration status... Here's good news..

Divorce will not jeopardize your legal status.
You are eligible to apply for naturalization on your own since you have been permanent resident over 5 years.

Good luck..

What do you mean? Divorce or Naturalization?

About the divorce, it depends on where you are. In some states, you have to live separately for a certain period before you can file for a divorce, except when issues such as domestic violence, mental illness involved. In some states, you can file a divorce without waiting. In California, processing time is about 6 months.

It takes about 8-10 months for naturalization.
