Hi, eric talley!

I just titled and moved your question to a new that you had placed as a response to someone else's old thread so that your question will get recognized as being your own.

This place doesn't work the same way that a chat room does. So, if someone wants to post a new question that's not a reply to the original question that's at the very top of a page, then it's best to be starting a new thread.

Now, concerning your question, how much experience do you already have painting for others in order to make a profit for yourself, please?

I can help you a lot with how to market yourself. However, it really would help us to know how much experience you already have.

Thanks!

I've been in the painting business for 7years. I'm the Superintendent of Alpha Painters
My partner never wanted to show me how to get bids, I'm good at what I do and my customers are very happy with my work. Now I have the tools I need to start my Painting company all I need now is how to get for my own bids.

You advertise, you call past customers, ask them for recommendations, depending on the type of work, you visit posibe customers, take them to lunch, you net work, What you do is sell.
Or consider hiring a commission sales person or several to sell jobs for you
