Hello;

I am glad that I found this site, I am hopefull that someone can answer a question for me.
I am waiting on my Bankruptcy Discharge papers to come in the mail, I am in need of a better car, I live in Columbus, Ohio, I have no heat in my car, it is freezing here and either the transmission or the rear end is going out, I don know which, need less to say I can not get any type of financing on a vehicle with out that discharge. I went to my final court hearing on 12/29/08 and need to find a web site where I can tract my discharge, does any one know of such a site?

I have my case number and can track it that way. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Never heard of that web site. You should be able to read on the Section 341 Notice of Meeting of Creditors a date by which any objections to discharge must be filed. Usually, the Discharge is mailed a few days after this date.

The federal court has a web site for each district, but in general you are not going to "track" it like that.

From the last date, unless there is someone that comes forward, it is about 4 to 7 months from the last court date, till the judge issues a final discharge.

*** and I am scared, your bankruptcy is not even final and you are already planning on getting further in debt??
