Hi,
I came to US on H1b on Feb08 with my wife and 4 kids( age 10,8,5,4), they are all on HB Visa.
I am filing Faderal Tax Return with my W2, and W7s for all of my kids and my wife as they don't have Social Security.
My Question. Should I wait for the TaxId to arrive and then file the State Tax refund or, I can attach the copy of W7 with Georgia Tax form and submit it?
Thanks.

Yes, you can file joint return as residents and claim your kids. You will attach W7 with your tax return.
About Georgia tax return, with or without ITIN, check with AtlantaTaxExpert at

Please, patience! It IS tax season and we ARE busy!
For Georgia, you must wait until the IRS mails your wife's and children's ITINs back to you before you file the Goergia state tax return.
To my knowledge, California is the only state that allows you to file without the ITINs.
